DoxyPEP refills are typically sent together with your PrEP prescription renewal. If you have already received an STI prevention (DoxyPEP) prescription from Freddie and you are in need of a refill, please follow the steps below:
- When it's time to renew your PrEP prescription, log into the Freddie Patient Portal
- Start the PrEP renewal process by completing the self-assessment questionnaire
- In the self-assessment questionnaire, you will be asked if you would like to refill your DoxyPEP with your next PrEP renewal
- Click 'yes' and provide your responses to the questions
- A clinician will review your responses, and if continuing the treatment makes sense for you, they will issue your DoxyPEP refill with your next PrEP prescription (don't forget to complete your labs!)
- If you're using our partner pharmacy, Affirming Care, you'll receive a call from our pharmacist to confirm your medication cost and discuss coverage before your prescriptions are delivered to you.
Please note that completing the DoxyPEP questionnaire does not mean you will receive a prescription refill right away. Your clinician will issue your DoxyPEP refill alongside your PrEP refill once your lab work has been completed.
