Looking for free STI testing outside your regular 3-month Freddie scheduled STI testing?
If you:
✅ Live in Ontario
✅ Are 17 or older
✅ Can visit a lab for testing
✅ Are sexually active
You may be eligible for GetaKit — free lab-based testing for HIV, syphilis, hepatitis C, gonorrhea, and chlamydia. GetaKit partners directly with Public Health Ontario to ensure timely treatment, including treatment of STIs that Freddie may not be able to treat directly.

You will be able to view your results on GetaKit's website once your samples have been received.
To view your results:
- Log in to your GetaKit account
- Navigate to the "Order history" section
- If you'd like to save your results, at the bottom left of the page, click: “download or print a copy for your records”
Please note that you will not be required to share your results from GetaKit with Freddie's clinical team unless otherwise indicated.
If you need to share your results with your Freddie clinician, please follow the steps above to save a copy of your results. Then, contact support@gofreddie.com to be provided with instructions on uploading your health information to Freddie’s secure portal.
It is important to note that STI testing completed through GetaKit does not replace regular 3-month lab testing for your PrEP renewals through Freddie.
